Who Can Receive Services

Adults: All survivors of sexual assault—whether reported to law enforcement or not. Adults who experienced childhood sexual abuse also qualify.

Children & Caregivers: Children who have experienced abuse, sexual assault, or witnessed violent crime (services available to their non-offending caregivers as well).

Please note: For children to receive services, the abuse must be reported to CPS and/or law enforcement. How those agencies proceed with their case will determine which services are available to the children and caregivers involved.

  • Trauma-Focused Yoga is a clinical, body-based approach to healing that offers a supportive space for recovery from the physical and emotional effects of trauma. Through gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and guided rest, participants learn to regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and restore a sense of safety and control. Movement is invitational and designed to support grounding, personal agency, and choice.

Sessions are offered one-on-one and in small group settings. This program is available to adolescent and adult clients following a referral from one of our licensed therapists. All services are provided at no cost to participants. Sessions are facilitated by Jewel West, Clinical Yoga Director, or by a Trauma-Focused Yoga-trained instructor under her supervision.

This program is designed to complement traditional therapeutic services by offering a structured, body-based approach to trauma recovery in a safe, supportive environment.

For more information or to request a referral, please contact Jewel at Jewel.West@ccnetx.org or call 903-454-9999. Yoga teachers interested in becoming certified to deliver this program should contact Jewel for information on training and supervision.
